The Edward
Bramley Society was founded by Edward Bramley (surprise,
surprise) in order to promote participation and raise
awareness of the field of Law. It is the University of
Sheffield’s Law Society and aims to strengthen the legal
community through enhancing job opportunities and
encouraging participation in legal workshops and events
which in turn aim inspire students to aspire to be the
Solicitors and Barristers of the next generation.
As an entirely
student run body, members can be sure of a warm welcome
and help always being at hand. Furthermore, the society
provides a great opportunity to make friends and meet
people, both other students and members of National
and International Law firms.
The social side
of Ed Bram flourishes throughout the year and offers
a great chance to meet new friends and also to get involved
with events such as the Winter and Summer Law Balls,
definite highlights of the year. In fact the opportunities
are endless, from mooting to making friends, from sport
to socials, we’ve got it all!
